In an effort to provide local schools with an effective way
of dealing with issues or problems unique to their own school,
the Fulton County School Board created School Councils
(Councils) for each of its public schools. Their purpose
is to assist the local school in bringing about cooperation of
resources to maximize educational opportunities for the
students. Each Council studies issues, then suggest
recommendations or alternatives for these issues.
It is important that the Council keep the lines of
communication open with our parent community. At Manning
Oaks the Council has already proven to be an effective means for
dealing with issues, concerns and ideas generated from staff,
parents and community. The Council meets on a monthly
basis during the school year to review these issues.
Meeting dates are published in the Manning Oaks newsletters as
well as on this site.
If you have questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail
us at the school. Click here to
e-mail us now! If you prefer, you may contact any Council
member personally. The names and phone numbers are
provided below.
